Friday the 13th

He's coming home today! Woo hoo! Time for a little happy dance on the way from the car to the arrivals hall.

It wouldn't be Friday the 13th if everything went smoothly. Shortly after arriving at the airport, we learned his flight had been delayed by almost three hours. Thank goodness for Starbucks and newspapers. It will be almost Saturday the 14th by the time my sailor arrives--way past my bedtime.

My soldier/sailor has arrived. He looks a little tired. (He's been travelling for just over 48 hours.) I'm not used to seeing him in fatigues, but it was a wonderful reunion.

Finally! Our whole family is at home together again. Normal life may now resume.
